VINTAGE KUROMONTSUKI HAORI "kyoto, maruni-sangaibishi, KUR105" KIMONO MANTLE 168 cm / inchesGenuine vintage Japanese kimono. This HAORI is called KUROMONTSUKI HAORI in Japan. Kiyomizu dera appears on the left, while the temple on the right is believed to depict Kinkaku ji before its major Showa era restoration. Below them, the scene of the Kyoto Gozan Okuribi fires unfolds. A poetic tribute to Kyoto, beautifully expressed through intricate weaving on lustrous silk. It used to be worn as the first formal jacket for Japanese men. My proposal
