日本人の坂部三樹郎と台湾人のシュエ・ジェンファンが手がけるドメスティックブランド。坂部三樹郎は2006年にエスモードパリを卒業、その後アントワープ王立美術アカデミーに進学、ファッション科を主席で卒業した。シュエ・ジェンファンは台湾生まれ。ベルギー・ブリュッセルのアートスクール、ラ・カランブル在学中に坂部と出会い、MIKIO SAKABEを立ち上げるため来日した。東京を代表するブランドとして、国内外より注目を集めている。

デザイナーのデジレー・ハイスとイネス・カーグはともに大学ではファッションを学び、BLESS をスタート。ドイツのベルリンから活動を始め、現在はベルリンとパリを拠点としている。96年に制作したi-D magazineの広告をが「N°00」とされ、BLESSとしての最初のクリエーションとなっている。最新のものを作るというより過去のアーカイブを続けていくことで価値を生み出している。コンセプチャルな要素が強く、 ファッションに留まらずプロダクトデザインなども幅広く行っている。
