Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with leftward facing profiles of Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig and Grand Duchess Victoria Melita circumscribed by names and titles, the reverse with integrated royal monograms, measuring 33. 17 mm in diameter, measuring 16. 4 grams, in very fine condition.
