An Early French Order Of The Legion Of Honour; Legionnaire (Knight From March 1, 1808) Hold In his Medical History ofFrance: Model of the First Empire, Type III (1806 1808); Silver with blue, white and green enamels, hallmarked with a fasces (made in Paris) on the ring, 37. 3 mm x 56. 7 mm inclusive of its crown suspension, frayed original ribbon, chipping evident in the white enamels on the arms and the green enamels on the wreath, the blue enamels on the centrepiece rings unaffected, very fine condition and scarce.
