Of French manufacture, in silver with red and black enamels, painted insignia on the obverse centrepiece, the reverse centrepiece inscribed in Russian with the institution date "22 1782" (September 22, 1782), measuring 18 mm (w) x 20 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, affixed with three silver rings attaching the loop to the ribbon, with period ribbon, extremely fine.
