A circular silver medal, the obverse depicting a leaping horse with a rider wielding a saber, surrounded by a red enameled ring with a decorative track, the reverse is plain, numbered 14177, on a swivel ring for suspension from its suspender with a triangular red ribbon and screw post pinback (missing its backing plate), unmarked but traditionally manufactured by the Moscow Mint, measuring 36. 2 mm in diameter, in better
