Germany, HJ. A National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Owner-Attributed Example, by Gustav Brehmer Auction including loosening of the peak(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1938). Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel wreath surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER (DISTRICT VICTOR) and flanked by a date of 1938, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker
