Instituted June 12th, 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1864 1918 issue). Constructed of silver and enamels, on a loop for suspension from its correct modern replacement ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with stippled arms, the obverse bearing a central white enamelled medallion overlaid by a delicately hand painted Prussian Imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II,
