Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Overseas Cap Archive assuming to preserve the peace(Luftwaffe Fliegermtze). An extremely well preserved Luftwaffe Officers overseas cap, constructed of dark grey wool twill. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side paneling, trimmed along the upper edge by a band of silver aluminum wire piping. Stitched onto the peak of the cap is an insignia in the form of a dark grey wool backer bearing a hand embroidered Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika. The eagle insignia measures 70 mm (h) x 40 mm
