Tunic: exterior is fabricated from a thick khaki cotton, used by both the RCAF and the RAF in warmer climates. Both shoulders incorporate shoulder straps fed through two narrow bands protruding from the tunic, neither of which is secured in place by its button at the neck end, both straps with Squadron Leader rank stripes sewn in place, consisting of three stripes, each of which incorporates a
