A Bronze Grade award, constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around central stylized initials DRL, the reverse with a barrel hinge and flattened pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked H. WERNSTEIN, JENA LBSTEDT, measuring 38. 82 mm (w) x 48. 62 mm (h), weighing 16. 7 grams, in extremely fine
