Bavaria, Kingdom. An 1866 Bavarian Campaign War Cross. certificate_of_authenticity following the change of name(Armeedenkzeichen). A cross patte constructed of bronze, the obverse with a central medallion depicting a rampant lion within an oak wreath, the reverse dated 1866 within an oak wreath, on loop for suspension, from a non magnetic medal bar with period original ribbon, unmarked, measures 37. 07 mm (w) x 41. 79 mm (h), and in fine condition.
