Germany, Luftwaffe. A Luftwaffe Honour Roll Clasp United Republic of obverse illustrating the left-facing King(Ehrenblatt des Luftwaffe). Instituted 5 July 1944 by Reichsmarschall Hermann Gring. (1944 145 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse with four attachment prongs, unmarked, the clasp measuring 24. 43 mm in diameter, affixed to a ribbon measuring 30 mm (w) x 285 mm (l), in extremely fine condition. Footnote: A rare decoration, there are 180 known awardees of the Luftwaffe Honour Roll Clasp.
