Russia, Imperial. A Saint George Medal for Bravery, IV Class Hold A 1933-34 RAD Wir-Helfen badgeInstituted 1878 by Tsar Alexander II. (Nicholas II, 1894 1917). In silver, presenting Nicholas II on the obverse, the reverse inscribed number impressed "No 314966" and 4th Class on the reverse, measuring 28. 19 mm (w) x 32. 95 mm (h inclusive of integral ring), missing ribbon, light silver wear, edge bruising, remains in better than very fine condition. Footnote: The Medal for Bravery with Classes was founded by Tsar Alexander II on August 3, 1878.
