Sambucus racemosa 'SMNSRD4' ~ Lemony Lace® Elderberry Size:3 GALLON Non-native (1)Lemony Lace Elderberry is a compact, freely branching native deciduous shrub with an irregular mounded habit. The finely dissected foliage emerges bright yellow edged in red and matures to chartreus. Large flat top clusters of white star shaped flowers begin in early spring before the foliage emerges. The red drupes begin in late summer to fall. Grows best in moist, humusy well drained soils. Tolerates wet soils. NOTE: the berries for Lemony Lace are
