Pierre began estate bottling in 1979; his son Rodolphe joined in 2005. Les Marsaules comes from 60 year old vines on sand and chalk soils. Organic since 2000. Hand harvested, 100% destemmed, 25 day native yeast fermentation in open wood vessels, aged 24 months in second and third use barrels. Yields under 40 hl ha. Five generations
