Anhalt, Duchy. A House Order Of Albert The Bear, Commander Cross, C.1900 Newly Listed 21cm x 30cm (or 8(Hausorden Albrecht des Bren Komturkreuz). Instituted on 18 November 1836 by Henry, Duke of Anhalt Kthen, Leopold IV, Duke of Anhalt Dessau, and Alexander Karl, Duke of Anhalt Bernburg. An oval ring constructed of gilded bronze, obverse displaying a bricked, fortressed wall rising diagonally to the right with three battlements and a gate, a right facing bear, wearing a crown and collar, climbs the fortress, surrounded by the inscription FUERCHTE GOTT
