A Heer Signals Officers overseas cap, constructed of field grey whipcord wool. It is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, gently scalloped at the front, with the immediate peak area trimmed with silver aluminum wire piping. An additional length of silver aluminum wire piping fully trimmed the outer edge of the crown. Hand stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a field grey
