he was transferred to the 8th Infantry Battalion on July 17th and was taken on strength by them in France on the 22nd

the reverse lined with exceptionally well preserved field-gray wool

A signed AH postcard, depicted in an early Political Leaders uniform with his ubiquitous 1914 Iron Cross I Class and Black Grade Wound Badge clearly visible, the lower right corner overlaid by a clear handwritten signature in blue ink, the reverse in unused postcard format, measuring 9 cm (w) x 14 cm (h), demonstrating some wear and discolouration, in near extremely fine condition.
