It features a 250 mm long magnetic metal blade with a sharpened tip and semi sharpened lower edge, as well as a fuller running the length of each side. It is plain with the exception of a makers mark near the reverse ricasso of WG for sterreichische Waffenfabriksgesellschaft (now Steyr Arms of Austria). The blade sits securely
