Quartz brown a quality that is rarelyA notable specimen of lustrous, well formed, hexagonal prisms of Quartz with minor reddish brown Hematite tinting from the famous Red Feather Lakes area in northern Colorado. Well known Colorado collector George Robertson gave this piece to me (more appropriately my parents) as a present for my first birthday after a digging trip to the area a few months prior. This specimen is one of the largest presentations from this locality that I have seen with
