Flying Geese – Tyler Eash internationalism We dream togetherFlying Geese by Tyler Eash was inspired by a similarity in the geometry of stacked security barricades with the Maidu basket pattern of the same name. The Maidu are Indigenous Americans of northern California and victims of brutal ethnic cleansing and forced assimilation. Maidu are considered exemplary basketweavers, who believe their baskets are living beings. These baskets were collected, especially during the so called basket craze, which followed
