Aromatic lift
Plenty of citrus and crunchy green apple with white flowers on the nose
and discover what makes this family estate and their wines so memorable
Fine tannins and a savoury edge run beneath armfuls of bright fresh blueberries
We like to think of this as a baby Brunello
López de Heredia, Viña Tondonia Blanco, Reserva, 2014 Raj's Pick Aromatic liftThis wine is iconic and for good reason. Led by savoury notes, this wine is packed with toast, smoke, and spice with salted almonds, mushroom and earth. More delicate aromatics of bitter lemon zest, pollen and herbal tea notes lift it and give elegance and balance. This is a serious and punchy wine with a finish that doesn't stop. It does wonders beside most salty snacks but has the power to stand up to a richer dish like pate. if you want to try
