From this point we turn right and head off over the moor before descending back down into Chop Gate

Osmotherley by the Drove Road moors-on-wheels We head out through the8 Miles (13km) with about 4 hours walking, we will meet up in Osmotherley village square at 10am for a 10. 30 start. This is a pleasant walk following woodland paths, moorland tracks and a little bit of road. We leave the village and head off on the Cleveland Way towards South Wood and follow the Cleveland Way across Scarth Wood Moor, after a small road section we join the Hambleton Drove Road near to Cod Beck Reservoir and head south to Square corner
