The hand cut slab of red clay has grooves on the back for installation and a hole incised into the top edge to hold a wire so that the tile can be hung on the wall as a plaque

Vtg Display Sample Woman in Apron w/ Turkey Diner Style Die Cut Vinyl Minton The back has the impressedA huge 19 1 2" tall by 17 1 2" round plaque of a heavy set woman carrying a turkey on a platter. It is a die cut linoleum vinyl and is mounted onto a masonite peel which was cut with a hanging tab at the top. The patina tells me this is probably 1940's 50's era. Probably a salesman's sample for a kitchen or diner floor insert. Great graphic appeal.
