I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic that many of them lacked was decent color

and they somewhat remind of the classic “Moor’s head” Tourmalines from the island of Elba

Calcite Copper I have seen many TourmalineA seldom seen Calcite from the Osceola Mine along the Animas River near Silverton. This specimen features sharp, well formed rhombohedra of Calcite up to 1. 2 cm that have a medium chocolate brown coating of an unknown manganese oxide. Additionally, the crystals are sitting on excellent quality, lustrous, GEM gemmy Quartz prisms on matrix. From the collection of T. M.
