The frame is most probably brass, and features a very elegant trail of poppies around the front and two very stylised hounds heads for the clasp. The interior is very fine dusty pink silk which is quite threadbare and has a side pocket and is finished to the frame with a chain of ribbon work flowers. There is a fine brass chain
