S/S Ivernia 1955 Sizes:A3+ (329x483mm, 13x19 inch) Archival Print (Unframed) This simple but striking designThis imaginative childrens menu cover came from the RMS Ivernia, a Cunard owned ocean liner that operated between the United Kingdom and Canada. It shows a sailor astride a friendly whale while two little fish dance around on the air expelled by the mammals blowhole. Many British families sailed on this ship as a prelude to new lives in Canada so there would have been many children on board and this 1955 menu was for a childrens tea party. Courtesy
