One of the VERY FEW Sphalerite specimens that I have seen from the Chicote Grande mine in Bolivia

but these crystals are found in hydrothermal tin veins where there is an absolute absence of Thorium (usually a trace element in Monazite)

quality and caliber are simply not seen from Bolivia in virtually any capacity

and just look at how sharp

especially when you can hold it in your hands and rotate it in the light to see all three twins
