He began his artistic career at the Lambeth studio in 1883. Around 1890, Nunn moved to the Burslem studio where he worked directly with Charles Noke on the development of Holbein and Rembrandt wares. This is an outstanding Holbein example decorated in the Flemish "old Master" manner that heavily influenced Walter
