Vintage California Tile Panel by Taylor Santa Monica alfred meakin The base is marked withThis vintage 12" square tile panel was made by Taylor Tilery (1930 1941) of Santa Monica California. From a later 1930s production the tiles are made from a dust pressed body and covered in waxy matte glazes. This set has a sand colored background to its kaleidoscopic design. Each tile measures 6" square and 3 8" thick which makes them easy to mix with contemporary tile. Marked "Santa Monica Tiles" on the back. Cleaned of grout and mortar the tiles
