Vintage Jakob Bengel Art Deco machine age silver tone, aqua blue and coral orange galalith and glass bead necklace, beautiful detail marcel This was influenced by theFabulous silver tone Art Deco necklace from the 1930s. A beautiful, almost Egyptian revival design, by the German maker Jakob Bengel. The necklace has pale greeny blue (turquoise? teal?) and a sort of orangey coral colour cabochons made of the early casein based plastic called galalith. Then there are small glass beads in matching colours on both layers. The silver tone links are beautifully made, becoming more ornate as they come in towards the front
