but the main Amazonite crystals on the top of the piece are well-terminated and look nice when viewing from above

Augelite with Quartz and Jamesonite(?) amber but it’s time for itA good representative Augelite specimen from Machacamarca featuring many sharp, lustrous, translucent monoclinic crystals with Quartz on matrix. Some of the Augelites are very good sized for the locality and, along with the Quartz crystals, are included with an unknown black mineral (possibly Jamesonite). The two tone effect created from the inclusions makes for an eye catching piece as a lot of the specimens from this mine are not terribly colorful.
