Bird In Hand, New York 1930s Kansas comes from the famous CliffThe owners of The Bird in Hand, a fried chicken restaurant in New York City, had a sense of humor. The front cover of the menu shows a court scene with chickens lined up in front of judges and lawyers and the words: "Guilty; Sentenced To Fry."
