PP56 Chinese Chair benches a movement championed by Yanagi'sPP56 Chinese Chair by Hans Wegner for PP Mobler. Wegner presented his PP66 in 1943 at Kunsthndvrkets Spring Exhibition. Inspired by an old Chinese chair, there have been several versions of the chair. The 2 metre steam bent pole was replaced in 1991 by a stronger pre compressed one.
