Owens Pottery Egyptian Revival Tile Frieze Of Lotus and Scarab Fritz Hudler The artwork shows a shipThis handsome Arts and Crafts tile panel made at the Owens Pottery (1891 1929) in Zanesville Ohio around 1910. Molded in high relief the central tile is a green scarab. It measures 6" tall and 9 1 2" wide. It is flanked by 2 lotus tiles, 6" square. One side of each lotus tile is finished in a curve as an end cap. Overall the frieze measures about 21 1 2" wide and 6" tall. Excellent overall condition.
