Spent mushroom substrate - Kerbside delivery, bulk bag. Once cookedKerbside delivery in a bulk bag tonne sack, usually around 200kg. Our spent substrate is whats left after growing mushrooms. The substrate is made from a mixture of oak sawdust and bean husks and will be teaming with mycelium. The substrate acts as a wonderful mulch, its great for suppressing weeds, promoting moisture retention in the soil and, anecdotally, the worms love it! The mycelium improves the soil structure and helps plants access nutrients
