Vintage Art Deco Tile Mural of a Sailboat by Wheeling Aries Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience TileA rare tile panel by the Wheeling Tile Company (1913 1960) of West Virginia. Dating to the 1920 30's the colors of green and black are period Art Deco. The image of a sailboat on calm waters with gulls flying overhead is tubelined, meaning the outline is meticulously applied by hand with a syringe, then glazes are poured between the raided lines. The mural measures 12 3 4" tall and 17" wide. Each 4 1 4" tile is marked on the back "Wheeling Cushion".
