This stunning piece is signed on the reverse with the Butler and Wilson B&W circular panel / plate

probably from the 1980s or thereabouts

The brooch is in acceptable vintage condition - there are some minor nibbles in the glass around the edges - but I felt it was still a nice matching piece for the pendant

The intaglio shows a beautiful Grecian woman in flowing robes carrying an urn. Perhaps the most likely subject is Hebe the Greek goddess and personification of eternal youth in Greek mythology. I have not tested the yellow metal setting so cannot confirm the composition of the metal, but these were sometimes unmarked gold. Beautiful,
