The result is an elegant and honest wine that nods to Burgundy and delivers a world-class expression of Chardonnay

A joy to drink and everything we love about damn good Gevrey

Domaine Alex Moreau, Saint Aubin 1er Cru 'En Remilly', 2020 white black cherries and plumsWild peach and orange pith on the nose with a stony, mineral edge. The palate is rich yet crisp, with fresh acidity, tension and a long, saline finish. Classic Burgundy at its most precise, in an exceptional vintage (particularly for white wines). This site is one of the best in Saint Aubin and Alex is farming just a quarter of a hectare here.
