Dalwhinnie Friends Of The Classic Malts Triple Matured Edition 48% - 30ml 6%An attractive nose of vanillaReleased for the Friends Of The Classic Malts in 2013, the Dalwhinnie Triple Whisky Matured Edition was matured in charred American hogsheads, American oak hogshead and European oak casks before it was bottled at 48% ABV. The core range Dalwhinnie 15 is a bit boring for me and thats pretty much all I've tried from them, but this rarity was surprisingly good and that extra couple of percentage ABV really helps it shine.
