Flyover Painting This piece reflects light beautifully

This piece reflects light beautifully due to the real gold used in it

My bed for Saatchi is my largest sculptural piece to date and was inspired by escaping into social media accounts of beautiful homes whilst I sat in my basement flat in Stamford Hill that doesn't have a living room and needs black mould treatments every 6 months

the central image of the door serves as a symbol of both entry and departure

It is painted in acrylics on stretched canvas and is unframed without fixings

But in this work

Flyover Painting This piece reflects light beautifullyA dark, moody, night scene of the motorway flyover with reflected bright light. The cars show the scale of the flyover at its most monolithic. I have simplified the shapes and details to highlight the looming overhang of the flyover and the blur of light at the vanishing point. This is a large scale, deep edge canvas with painted red edges. The main colour is a deep teal blue contrasting with the orange red. Oil on Canvas 102 x 76 x 8 cms Unframed,
