Tillandsia 'Brandywine' SPRING22 This is a new clone

This is a new clone we grew from seed that Dennis collected in 2008 on a trip to Honduras

Our seeds were sourced from Lucas Assis who collected them in Minas Gerais state

shiny leaves with heavy black spines and beautifully branched pink and blue inflorescence makes this plant much sought as a container specimen or landscape plant

The leaves are stiff and have minimal spines along the edges

Tillandsia 'Brandywine' SPRING22 This is a new cloneThis plant is apparently a form of T. crocata, a bit more robust and with darker flowers than the typical form. We received our original plant from Paul Isley, but we have not seen it for sale. Perhaps it is still rare in collections? A nice plant, worth a try.
