The CST 50 is a little bit of an oddity the CST model was originally a Squier Japan model in the early days of Fender Japan. Fender Japan clearly had surplus CST bodies and necks so they used them to produce a Fender variant of the CST model in the late 80's early 90's, that's what you see here! The big difference between the ST72 and CST is that Fender Japan had started using Basswood for
