Neoregelia 'Galactic Explosion' VIPP 2-3-20 edible fruits called banana-do-mato inThis spectacular large grower has overall dark red leaves with a grayish wash, bearing bright red tips and covered with lime green speckles and flecks. The leaf undersides have gray banding. One of our nicest large growers, we obtained this plant on a trip to Brazil from Roberto Menescal who named it, but said the cross was made by Padre Don Vitus.
