The plant matures to an open, round, large rosette to 18 inches in diameter. About 15 recurving, broad (2. 5" wide), wavy, dark burgundy leaves, randomly mottled black with slight silver scurfed cross banding and some foliage crenulation (longitudinal ridges). Rosette flattens at blooming.
