Chateau Pichon Longueville Baron Pauillac 2011 Post House all that graphite but notMedium to deep purple ruby colour. Aromas are well defined cassis, ripe redcurrant & clean toasty new oak. Initially the tannins are quite astringent but notes of strawberries, vanilla & cedar oak gradually open on the palate until only a touch of tannic green bite remained at the finish. Alcohol is balanced & acidity leaves the finish long & fresh with flavours of cocoa butter, black fruit, vanilla & cedar. Develops beautifully over time.
