It's a very unique and special fabric. The square jacquard has a tighter quilted repeat. The right side is a fine cotton and the reverse side is a gauzy cotton, there is no batting in the middle of this cloth, the inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which gives it the quilted feel. Merchant & Mills advises that you overlock your raw edges
