Dyckia 'Purple and Silver' species reddish and banded with whitishWe believe that this plant was introduced by San Marcos Growers in California. It is reportedly a fosteriana hybrid with the other parent unknown. The plants have fairly narrow leaves in a full rosette, like you would expect in a fosteriana hybrid, and reaches about 18 inches across. The leaf color is deep purple burgundy with a metallic silvery sheen. Very attractive.
