Built in 2016 it has distilled whiskey since 2017 with sustainability in mind it has zero waste and eco friendly practices. Ballykeefe has a long history of growing grain and for brewing and distillation with records of whiskey distillation at local farms as early as 1324 hundreds of years before the first recorded whisky in Scotland.
